DONE DEALS: A condo sold at a princely price

Corcoran’s Leighton Candler Team is in contract to sell a $12 million condo at 27 East 79th Street.

The 3,000 s/f duplex unit has five bedrooms and five bathrooms and is located on the Upper East Side, a block away from Central Park.

The buyer will be one of the first residents in the first residential project from by the Parisian design firm Cabinet Alberto Pino.

The design firm is best know for its work with royal families of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, billionaire John Malone, owner of Formula One, and French President Emmanue Macron. Most recently the firm handled the renovation for the Lanesborough Hotel in London.

The 15-story building will have just eight luxury residences including duplexes, full floor homes, a ground-level townhouse with private outdoor space and triplex penthouse. It is expected to be completed by early 2019.

The unnamed buyer was represented by Nikki Field from Sotheby’s International Realty.
