Ripco ready to lease Brooklyn Navy Yard’s Admirals Row

Doug Steiner, chairman of Steiner NYC, has retained Peter Ripka and Jason Pennington of Ripco Real Estate to lease Admirals Row at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, anchored by the first Wegmans Food Market in New York City.

In addition to the 75,000 s/f Wegmans, Admirals Row offers 90,000 s/f of retail space, 700 parking spaces, and 356,000 s/f of light industrial space. Construction is well underway – steel erection is ongoing – with completion scheduled for Q1 2019.

The project, at the corner of Flushing Avenue and Navy Street, is accessible from Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, just off BQE exit 29, the Manhattan Bridge.

“Nothing like this has ever existed in New York. Wegmans expects to draw 50,000 customers a week. It’s like having our own retail corridor,” said Steiner.
