PropTech finalists announced ahead of next week’s global summit in New York

Some of the men and women at the forefront of the real estate technology revolution have been named  finalists in a global search for the very best.

The winners will be announced at next week’s NYC Real Estate Tech Week by the Manhattan-based incubator, MetaProp NYC, which is issuing the awards to recognize the individuals, technologies and organizations that have gone above and beyond to positively impact next generation PropTech.

Due to an overwhelming number of responses — more than 100 total nominations — a group of up to five finalists have been selected in each of the Awards categories by a three-member Primaries Committee consisting of:  Emily Wright, Estates Gazette; Patrice Derrington, Columbia University and;  Clelia Warburg-Peters, Warburg Realty & MetaProp NYC.

“We are delighted to put forward this list of innovators, visionaries and hackers who are working every day to push the real estate industry forward. We congratulate all of the finalists for their inspiring work and look forward to seeing what they accomplish next,” said  Peters.

The winners will be announced Wednesday, Oct. 11 at a ceremony during the MIPIM PropTech Summit.

Founded in 2015 by MetaProp NYC, the NYCEDC and various corporate and industry partners, NYC Real Estate Tech Week has become the Davos of PropTech. The week is anchored by the annual MIPIM PropTech Summit. Through this marquee event and dozens of others each year, top government, business, and technology minds from around the world come to the center of the PropTech universe, New York City, to learn and network.

The week long celebration of PropTech provides a global meeting place and marketplaces real estate practitioners looking for education on getting the best of new technologies for their buildings and operating businesses and get a chance to see what their competitors are doing around innovation.

It gives industry leaders and change agents  direct access to technology and founders products, services and industry innovations and opens the door for investors looking for hot, new investment opportunities in the space.
