British firm AlphaSights moving to RFR’s 350 Madison Avenue

RFR Realty has drawn another international business to its newly renovated Grand Central Tower, 350 Madison Avenue.

London-based AlphaSights, Inc. will occupy the entire 12th, 14th and 15th floors for a total of 46,142 s/f in the office tower.

The long-term lease was negotiated on behalf of RFR by AJ Camhi, senior vice president and director of leasing at RFR, along with a JLL team that includes Alexander Chudnoff, Mitchell Konsker, Daniel Turkewitz and Diana Biasotti.

AlphaSights was represented in the transaction by a Cushman & Wakefield team led by Augustus Field.

“We continue to experience strong leasing momentum at 350 Madison Avenue,” said Camhi. “The commitment by AlphaSights is further testament to the quality of this asset. Additionally, its prime location offers tenants easy access to one of New York City’s largest transportation hubs and green space at Bryant Park.”

AlphaSights, Inc. is a professional services firm which provides global knowledge search capabilities. It connects its clients – decision-makers at the world’s top private equity firms, hedge funds, strategy consultancies and corporations – with industry practitioners who possess the frontline knowledge and expertise needed.

The company — which has offices in London, Dubai and Hong Kong — is relocating from 229 West 43rd Street.

Camhi noted that 350 Madison Avenue has become a primary hub for international businesses seeking a

New York headquarters location. The roster of new tenants at the tower includes The Korea Society, the World Economic Forum, Bank Leumi and Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group. In 2016, RFR signed over 135,000 s/f of new leases to bring occupancy up over 85 percent. Currently, 350 Madison has only three floors available for lease, including high-end prebuilt suites.

RFR recently completed a comprehensive renovation of the property that included the redesign of the building’s two-story, sky-lit lobby, interior landscaping, coffee bar and convenience stand.

The building also has a rotating museum-quality art program currently exhibiting paintings by David Salle and prints by Andy Warhol.
