Gotham, the New York real estate developer, has launched two new business divisions.
Gotham Properties is a a new property and asset management division which is managing 2.1 million square feet of residential property with 4,000 residents, and 230,000 s/f of commercial space, with 35 commercial tenants, in buildings developed and owned by Gotham.
The new division provides leasing, marketing, building service and maintenance, facilities management, accounting, budgeting, financial compliance and regulatory compliance services.
Gotham Hospitality develops and manages its food hall businesses including Gotham West Market, opened in 2013, and Gotham Market at The Ashland, a new artisanal bar and restaurant complex opening this fall at the base of Gotham’s new Brooklyn residential building, The Ashland. The markets feature 17 dining and beverage destinations in 30,000 s/f of space, plus a specialty bicycle shop providing bike valet and other services.
Gotham Hospitality also provides restaurant assemblage, marketing, event hosting, maintenance and facilities management services.
Gotham Properties and Gotham Hospitality have dedicated staffs of more than 130 employees combined.
