Eastern Consolidated and Neal Cabot Ohm have arranged a long-term, 2,023 s/f lease for Tarallucci e Vino at the base of 400 Park Avenue South, a new luxury residential building in NoMad being developed by Toll Brothers City Living and Equity Residential.
This will be the well-known Italian restaurant’s fifth location in New York City.
The retail space, at the corner of East 28th Street and Park Avenue South, also includes 1,100 s/f of outdoor, property-lined seating and more than 40 feet of frontage along East 28th Street.
Tarallucci e Vino — founded by Abruzzese restaurateur Luca Di Pietro — features an Italian dining experience with an artisanal menu that pairs with a list of wines by small-batch producers.
Tarallucci e Vino offers breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, pastries, drinks, and coffee, and maintains four existing locations in Union Square, Cooper Hewitt, the East Village, and on the Upper West Side.

The angular, 40-story building at 400 Park Avenue South — situated two blocks away from Madison Square Park — was designed by the architect Christian de Portzamparc.
Upon completion, the property will offer a mix of condominiums and rentals, complemented by a 15,000 s/f basement amenity space, theater, fitness center, and 60-foot swimming pool.
