DONE DEALS: Realty Collective agent finds buyers a home, Swede home

A Swedish teacher and his wife fell in love with a Bay Ridge clapboard that reminded them of home.
The couple was among six to make an offer on 640 73rd Street when it hit the market, listed at $599,000 by Shyda Hoque and Nils Anderson at Realty Collective.

The three bedroom, 1-bath, 1,041 s/f, two-story one-family house has a huge backyard and pool.
Recent upgrades include vinyl siding, new windows, hot water heater, and stainless dishwasher and refrigerator.
There is a stacking washer/dryer on the first floor and the above-ground pool has a wraparound deck.
The lot is large enough and legally zoned for expansion on the rear of the house.

“There were six offers on the table. Two teachers ended up buying it and they wanted to preserve the integrity of the house,” said Hoque, who noted her clients had sold a family house in Sweden and were able to have funds to purchase in Bayridge.
“The buyers lived a few blocks away in Bay Ridge and were looking for a charming space to call home. It reminded them of their home they had recently sold in Sweden.”
The house spent four weeks on the market and sold at $609,000.
