Avison Young announced today that James Delmonte and Elliot Baum have joined the company’s newly established office in New York City.

Delmonte, most recently Vice-President of Research with Jones Lang LaSalle in New York, joins Avison Young as a principal and vice-president of research. Baum, previously a senior managing director of the consulting group and head of marketing for Colliers Tri-State, joins as a principal and vice-president of marketing.

Avison Young, Canada’s largest independently-owned commercial real estate services company, has made a number of hires in the region since announcing the opening of its New York City office in April, when Arthur Mirante, then president of Cushman and Wakefield, left the firm to lead Avison’s US expansion as principal and Tri-State president.
Over the past three years, Avison has grown from 11 to 32 offices and from 300 to more than 950 real estate professionals across Canada and the U.S. The firm now has 15 locations outside of Canada.
