Ceramics studio joins Pacific Park roster

Greenland Forest City Partners announced that BKLYN CLAY, a local ceramics studio, has signed a ten-year, 5,260 s/f lease at 535 Carlton Avenue, an all-affordable building in Brooklyn’s Pacific Park neighborhood.

Scheduled to open this October, the ground-floor retail location will offer 24/7/365 membership access, semester-long classes, workshops and one-time events for adults and children.

Upon opening, BKLYN CLAY’s new location will be the largest ceramics studio in Brooklyn.

“We’re proud to partner with BKLYN CLAY to open the largest ceramics studio in Brooklyn right in the heart of Pacific Park,” said Scott Solish, Director of Development at Greenland USA.

“As a Brooklyn-based company, we’re excited to help them expand into new neighborhoods, offering a one-of-a-kind place for people to learn, play, create and interact.”

“We are thrilled to open our new space at 535 Carlton in the Pacific Park community, where there’s been tremendous demand for creative facilities and unique local experiences,” said BKLYN CLAY Owner and Director Jennifer Waverek. BKLYN CLAY joins several recently announced Brooklyn-based retailers within the Pacific Park development, including Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream, Eladia’s Kids and Beer Street, all three of which will open within the site’s 278-unit luxury condominium 550 Vanderbilt.
