Square Mile Capital Management LLC has appointed Laurie Golub as Chief Operating Officer of the company.
Golub, a well-known and highly regarded real estate industry veteran, officially joins the firm on January 8, 2018.
Golub has over 25 years oexperience in the industry. Prior to joining Square Mile, she held leadership positions at HFZ Capital Group, Africa Israel USA and Forest City Ratner Companies.
NAI James E. Hanson announced that the firm’s President, William C. Hanson, SIOR, has been named to the Strategic Leadership Committee for the 2018 NAI Global Leadership Board.
The NAI Global Strategic Leadership Committee develops and manages strategic initiatives consistent with the objectives and goals of NAI professionals.
Hanson joins four fellow industry leaders from across the nation on the committee – Steve Balkman, NAI Puget Sound Properties, Michael Flynn, NAI Hiffman, Mark Miller, NAI Robert Lynn, and Robin R. Zellers, NAI CIR.

JLL has hired David Sitt and Eliott Zeitoune as vice presidents with JLL Capital Markets in New York.
They will provide strategic advisory services for institutional owners, borrowers and capital providers, as well as investment sales in the greater New York market.
Zeitoune and Sitt will work with Aaron Appel, vice chairman and head of debt and equity finance, with JLL Capital Markets in New York.
Prior to joining JLL, David Sitt was founding partner of Sitt Ventures, a real estate brokerage firm. Before that, he was an investor in Wharton Realty Group Inc. and a partner with Blitzz International.
Sitt has studied business law and real estate at New York University, and accounting and finance at Pace University. He is a licensed real estate sales person in New York.
He founded The Sephardic Food Fund in 2001. The organization distributes funds through JP Morgan Chase Visa credit cards that are only accepted in supermarkets and groceries stores. Starting with $50,000 in 2002, it has grown to $2.5 million in charitable funded food purchases in 2017 and more than $26 million to daIn addition, Sitt is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician in New Jersey. He has served with community ambulance service Deal First Aid Squad as a volunteer for more than 20 years.
Prior to joining JLL, Eliott Zeitoune served as broker with Hudson Real Estate Partners, where he represented tenants in office leasing transactions. Earlier, he was president of sales for a family-run business involved in the fashion industry.
He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Baruch College. Zeitoune speaks Arabic, Hebrew and Spanish. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of New York.
Phillips Nizer LLP has added Lisa R. Radetsky as a partner in its real estate practice.
Radetsky joins Phillips Nizer from Rosenberg & Estis. She represents developers in acquiring, financing, constructing and converting properties to condominium or cooperative ownership and the representation of non-profits in the converting of properties to condominium ownership for tax exemptions.
Additionally, she represents clients in drafting cooperative and condominium offering plans, as well as the drafting and creation of fee and leasehold commercial condominiums including the preparation of all requisite “no action” letter applications.
Radetsky also handles transactional work, including sales and acquisitions.
Radetsky earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, and her undergraduate degree from Brandeis University.
Jennifer Chung has joined the real estate department as a senior associate.
She joins Phillips Nizer from Thompson & Hines. Chung focuses her practice on complex commercial and residential real estate transactions, representing lenders, purchasers, sellers and borrowers of commercial real estate.
Chung received her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and her B.A. from Columbia University.
AmTrust Title Insurance Company announced that R. Michael Smith, Esq., an accomplished attorney with nearly three decades of title industry experience, has joined as Regional Underwriting Counsel.
He will, in addition to other activities, underwrite title insurance risks regionally for agents in Maryland, The District of Columbia, North Carolina and South Carolina, as well as Virginia.
In addition, Mr. Smith will assist AmTrust Title’s group of national agents.
Prior to joining AmTrust Title, Smith was Underwriting Counsel for Conestoga Title Insurance Co.. Before that, he held senior posts for national title insurance companies, primarily in Virginia.
He also has been in the private practice of law focused on real estate and has been Managing Attorney for a title and settlement subsidiary of a national builder.
Smith earned his JD at the University of Virginia School of Law and a BA degree from the University of Virginia.

Eastern Union Funding announced that Sol Katz has joined the firm as Director of Business Development for their Affiliate Buyer Division.
Katz, who has a professional background in sales and marketing, will be assisting in developing the division, as well as leading all future Affiliate Buyer initiatives.
