The restaurateurs behind burger joints L.E.S. Kitchen and Burger Inc. are opening a new outpost at 89 Greenwich Avenue in the West Village.
The new restaurant, called Confidant, is planned as a “trendy neighborhood burger bar with a sidewalk cafe.” The ownership team, composed of David Chen and Henry Wong, signed a 15-year, 1,500 s/f lease.
“The West Village is an iconic and classic neighborhood that has always been a magnet for restaurants,” said Douglas Elliman’s Faith Consolo, who negotiated the lease on behalf of the l. “This fifth location is a perfect fit for this dynamic and trendy area, creating the right environment while appealing to the surrounding locals and tourists who pass through daily.”
“There is an exciting mix of restaurants on the block that make Greenwich Avenue a local dining destination, and a burger bar will be a great addition to the area. Notable eateries include Quality Eats, Mighty Quinn’s BBQ, The Meatball Shop,Greenwich Steakhouse, Barraca and Rosemary’s” added Arthur Maglio.
Douglas Elliman represented the landlord. Meanwhile, Confidant was represented by Sinvin Real Estate.
