Cushman & Wakefield and Lee & Associates secured a 10-year, 10,000 s/f lease for ALAND at RedSky Capital’s 92 North 6th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The Korean-based brand is entering the U.S. market with a three-story flagship store in one of Brooklyn’s most active retail corridors.
The retailer will be occupying the entire building, which is 3,700 s/f on the ground floor, 3,050 s/f on the lower level and 3,700 s/f on the second floor, and also includes roof access. ÅLAND, founded in 2005, is a multi-concept store that offers its customers a variety of products, ranging from men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, accessories and living and beauty products.
ALAND currently has more than 20 stores in Korea, with additional locations throughout Asia.
A Cushman and Wakefield team comprised of Steven Soutendijk, Executive Director and Glenn Yang, a Senior Manager who works in the firm’s Seoul, Korea office represented ÅLAND. RedSky Capital was represented by Peter Braus and his Williamsburg team at Lee & Associates. “Aland is a great addition to Williamsburg’s retail lineup. It continues the trend of cool and interesting stores that have chosen the neighborhood to show off their brand to the world,” Braus commented.

The high visibility location allows ALAND to join neighboring retailers like Urban Outfitters, Whole Foods, J Crew and Gant Rugger.
