Movable Ink — a technology company that allows marketers to send emails that change at the moment of open according to the context of each recipient — signed a 10-year lease to occupy 54,782 rentable square feet of pre-built space, occupying the entire 8th and 9th floors.

The company will officially relocate its corporate headquarters from its current Flatiron location at 636 Avenue of the Americas to 5 Bryant Park in November 2016.

“We’re thrilled to be moving into 5 Bryant Park this winter,” said Vivek Sharma, chief executive officer of Movable Ink.
“Considering our expanding team, it was important to find a building that would provide enough open space for us to collaborate efficiently and comfortably.”

5 Bryant Park is a 34-story building located on West 40th Street near the corner of Avenue of the Americas, overlooking Bryant Park.

Its 40-by-18½-foot mosaic mural entrance – completed by noted mosaic artist Max Spivak in 1958 – was uncovered during a 2015 building renovation, which also included constructing a second lobby entrance on 41st Street, and modernizing the lobby and elevators.

Following its unveiling, Equity Office commissioned well-known mosaic craftsman Stephen Miotto to handle its meticulous repair.

Brian Waterman, Brent Ozarowski, Josh Gosin and Alex Radmin of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the ownership in the leasing of this transaction.

Scott Silverstein, Equity Office leasing manager, and Zachary Freeman, Equity Office vice president of leasing, represented Equity Office in-house. Erik Schmall and Mike Mathias of Savills Studley represented Movable Ink.

Other notable tenants at 5 Bryant Park include Seamless Web, Game Show Network, HOK Architects, PlaceIQ, TJX and XP Securities, LLC.
