NEW DEVELOPMENT: Leasing begins at Printhouse in W’burg, TF Cornerstone celebrates LIC building

Sumaida + Khurana, the New York-based luxury residential development firm, has released the first renderings of 152 Elizabeth Street, the luxury condominium building in Manhattan designed by Japanese master architect, Tadao Ando.

Located at the corner of Kenmare and Elizabeth Street in Nolita, the 32,000 s/f building will rise seven stories and include a rooftop terrace. It will have eight “highly individualized, ultra luxury residences with bespoke interiors.ˮ Each residence will have two-to-five bedrooms and will range between 1,900 to over 5,000 s/f.
AIA award-winning architects, Michael Gabellini and Kimberly Sheppard, of Gabellini Sheppard Associates, will design the interiors of the project and serve as the Architect of Record.
Construction is expected to begin in the coming months and the building will be completed in 2016. Sales are expected to launch early 2015.
Ando is the only architect to have won all four major international architecture prizes: the Pritzker Architecture Prize, the Praemium Imperiale, the Carlsberg Architecture Prize and the Kyoto Prize.

Sales start at new ‘green’ boutique

Alfa Development announced that sales have commenced at its new boutique development, 199 Mott.
199 Mott is a collection of custom designed residences and the fourth building in Alfa’s Green Collection of sustainable residential developments.
“199 Mott is contextually designed to evoke old New York, and is ideally located in a neighborhood rich with history,” noted Michael Namer, CEO of Alfa Development.

Namer and Kutnicki Bernstein Architects (KBA) designed the eight-story building to complement the turn-of-the-century structures in the neighborhood.
It offers 11 half-floor two-bedroom and full-full floor three-bedroom residences topped by a 3,000 s/f penthouse with three bedrooms, a library/den, and a private outdoor roof deck.
All residences feature large picture windows, are prewired for custom home automation, and most residences offer private outdoor terraces or balconies.
199 Mott will target LEED Gold Certification. Interiors feature sustainably sourced period-specific details including tall raised-panel doors, wide plank oak floors, and custom moldings.
“199 Mott is truly a new addition to old New York, and we are excited to introduce such an exclusive condominium to the market,” said Meris and Kenny Blumstein of the Corcoran Group, exclusive marketing and sales firm for 199 Mott.
Pricing at 199 Mott begins at $2.6 million.

Units flying off inventory at the Robyn

Miron Properties, has leased 29 of 33 units at 316 East 3rd Street just a month after taking over leasing at the JSR Capital building called The Robyn.
The modern, new construction rental development built by Wonder Works Construction is an eight-story building designed by architect Karl Fischer .

It has studios, one bedrooms and four two bedroom duplex penthouses with private outdoor terraces.
Prices range $2,100 and up for studios to $3,375, and up for the duplex penthouses.
“The area is gentrifying and with all that is going on with the neighborhood, we are very excited to bring this on as a new addition,” said developer David Amirian.
● TF CORNERSTONE
Developer celebrating another LIC hit

TF Cornerstone’s sixth and final building on the Long Island City (LIC) waterfront, 4610 Center Boulevard, is now more than 50 percent leased.
The building — which curves around LIC’s famous Pepsi-Cola sign and contains a mix of studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments designed by international award-winning architecture firm Arquitectonia — has reached this milestone within two months of opening its doors in May 2014.
“Since TF Cornerstone began leasing apartments along the LIC waterfront ten years ago, we’ve been fortunate to have each building fill up at an incredible pace,” said Sofia Estevez, executive vice president of TF Cornerstone, Inc.
“4610 Center Boulevard is no different. We’re finding that families and young professionals are attracted not only to the residences, but also to the surrounding neighborhood. This sense of community is what makes many of our residents choose to stay in LIC for many years.”
The building’s interior amenity spaces were designed by design firm Yabu Pushelberg. Each apartment feature stainless steel appliances, glossy white cabinets, custom closets, wood strip floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows, many with sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline.
Residents also enjoy a spacious lobby with a WiFi lounge, a private garden, and 24-hour concierge. A modern fitness center is located on the seventh floor, and on the eighth floor, a resident club opens on to a landscaped terrace with beautiful views.

Leasing set to start at Printhouse

Greystone, a New York-based real estate development and financial group, announced that 139 North 10th Street officially launched as Printhouse Lofts,is coming to market in the next several weeks.
Situated between Berry Street and Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg, the 1900’s industrial-style warehouse has been turned into a 36-unit luxury rental apartment building.

The interiors are designed by Funda Durukan of Durukan Design. The project architect is H.T.O Architect, PLLC.

Park slope rentals a hot commodity

Ideal Properties Group announced the launch of 548 Fourth, a new luxury rental building in Park Slope.
